서비스 이용 약관

WeatherWake(이하 "앱")를 설치하거나 사용함으로써 본 이용 약관에 동의하는 것으로 간주합니다. 약관에 동의하지 않으시면 앱을 사용하지 마십시오.

앱은 날씨 정보를 기반으로 알람 시각을 자동으로 조정하는 Android 알람 애플리케이션입니다. 알람 시각 90분 전에 해당 알람 시각의 단기 예보를 조회하여, 비 또는 눈이 예보된 경우 사용자가 설정한 선행 시간만큼 알람을 앞당겨 여유로운 준비 시간을 제공합니다.

앱은 지역에 따라 다음 날씨 API를 교차 검증하여 데이터를 조회합니다:

• 기상청(KMA) + OpenWeatherMap — 한국 지역 (교차 검증)
• NWS(National Weather Service) + OpenWeatherMap — 미국 지역 (교차 검증)
• OpenWeatherMap 단독 — 그 외 글로벌 지역

교차 검증 지역에서는 두 공급자 중 하나라도 비·눈을 감지하면 알람을 앞당기는 안전우선 원칙을 적용합니다.

계정 로그인 없이 사용할 수 있습니다.

앱은 날씨 조회를 위해 기기의 대략적 위치(approximate location) 접근 권한을 요청할 수 있습니다. 정밀한 GPS 위치는 사용하지 않습니다. 위치 정보는 각 알람 시각 90분 전에 1회 날씨 API 호출에만 사용되며, 그 외 목적으로 수집·저장·공유되지 않습니다.

위치 권한을 허용하지 않을 경우, 수동으로 위치를 설정하여 앱을 사용할 수 있습니다.

앱은 날씨 데이터에 기반하여 알람을 자동 조정하지만, 다음 사항은 사용자의 책임 하에 있습니다:

• 날씨 API의 예보 정확도에 따라 알람 조정 결과가 달라질 수 있습니다.
• 앱 오작동, 기기 절전 모드, 네트워크 불량 등으로 인해 알람이 정상 작동하지 않을 수 있습니다.
• 중요한 일정에 대해서는 별도의 알람 수단을 병행 사용하시기 바랍니다.

앱은 "있는 그대로(AS-IS)" 제공되며, 명시적이든 묵시적이든 어떠한 종류의 보증도 하지 않습니다. 여기에는 상품성, 특정 목적에의 적합성, 비침해성에 대한 묵시적 보증이 포함되나 이에 한정되지 않습니다.

개발자는 다음 사항을 보증하지 않습니다:

• 앱이 중단 없이 또는 오류 없이 작동할 것
• 날씨 예보 데이터의 정확성, 완전성 또는 적시성
• 교차 검증 결과의 정확성 또는 두 공급자 간 데이터 일관성
• 알람이 모든 상황에서 정상적으로 울릴 것
• 앱이 모든 기기 및 운영체제 환경에서 호환될 것

앱은 기상청(KMA), NWS, OpenWeatherMap 등 외부 날씨 API의 정책 및 가용성에 따라 운영됩니다. 개발자는 관련 법률이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서 다음을 포함한 어떠한 손해에 대해서도 책임을 지지 않습니다:

• 날씨 예보의 부정확 또는 교차 검증 결과의 오류로 인한 알람 미조정 또는 오조정
• 네트워크 오류, 기기 절전 모드, OS 제한으로 인한 알람 미작동
• 앱 사용 또는 사용 불능으로 인해 발생하는 직접적·간접적·부수적·특별·결과적 손해 (지각, 약속 불이행, 수익 손실, 데이터 손실 등 포함)
• 외부 API 서비스 중단, 변경 또는 종료로 인한 날씨 데이터 미수신
• 기기 배터리 소모, 데이터 사용량 또는 기타 기기 자원의 소비

개발자의 총 책임 한도는 사용자가 앱에 대해 지불한 금액(무료 앱의 경우 0원)을 초과하지 않습니다.

천재지변, 전쟁, 테러, 정부 규제, 통신 장애, 외부 API 제공자의 서비스 중단 등 개발자가 합리적으로 통제할 수 없는 사유로 인해 서비스가 중단되거나 제한되는 경우, 개발자는 이에 대한 책임을 지지 않습니다.

개발자는 필요에 따라 본 약관을 수정할 수 있으며, 변경된 약관은 앱 업데이트 또는 공지를 통해 안내됩니다. 변경 후에도 앱을 계속 사용하시면 변경된 약관에 동의하는 것으로 간주합니다.

By installing or using WeatherWake ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The App is an Android alarm application that automatically adjusts alarm times based on weather forecasts. Ninety minutes before a scheduled alarm, the App queries the short-term forecast for that alarm time. When rain or snow is predicted, the App advances the alarm by the user-configured lead time to allow extra preparation time.

The App cross-validates weather data from the following APIs depending on your region:

• KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration) + OpenWeatherMap — South Korea (cross-validated)
• NWS (National Weather Service) + OpenWeatherMap — United States (cross-validated)
• OpenWeatherMap only — all other regions worldwide

In cross-validated regions, the alarm is advanced if either provider detects rain or snow (safety-first principle).

No account login is required.

The App may request access to your device's approximate location to fetch local weather data. The App does not use precise GPS location. Location information is used solely for weather API calls once, 90 minutes before each scheduled alarm, and is not collected, stored long-term, or shared for any other purpose.

If you prefer not to grant location permission, you can manually specify a location in the App settings.

While the App adjusts alarms automatically based on weather data, the following remain the user's responsibility:

• Alarm adjustments depend on the accuracy of the weather forecast, which may vary.
• Device power-saving modes, network issues, or OS restrictions may prevent the App from functioning correctly.
• For critical appointments, we recommend using additional alarm methods as a backup.

The App is provided "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that:

• The App will operate uninterrupted or error-free
• Weather forecast data will be accurate, complete, or timely
• Cross-validation results will be accurate or that data between providers will be consistent
• Alarms will function correctly under all circumstances
• The App will be compatible with all devices and operating system versions

The App operates subject to the policies and availability of external weather APIs, including KMA, NWS, and OpenWeatherMap. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including:

• Missed or incorrect alarm adjustments due to inaccurate weather forecasts or cross-validation errors
• Alarm failures caused by network errors, device power-saving modes, or OS restrictions
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App (including but not limited to being late for work, missed appointments, loss of revenue, or loss of data)
• Failure to receive weather data due to third-party API outages, changes, or discontinuation
• Device battery consumption, data usage, or other device resource consumption

The developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the App (which is zero for a free app).

The developer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing the service caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, network failures, or suspension of service by third-party API providers.

The developer may update these Terms as needed. Changes will be communicated through app updates or notices. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
